This year's Chalfont
St Giles Show will be held on Saturday 4th September 2010
in Stone Meadow and Silsden Meadow (next to the Village Green).
We are now taking bookings from those who would like to have
a stall at the show. |

The following
information is a summary which potential traders may find
useful. All traders/stall applicants MUST read and understand
the terms and conditions found at the end of this article.
Failure to do so may result in your pitch being surrendered
to another party.

About the Show
The Chalfont St Giles Country Show is a traditional village
show run by a committee of volunteers. As well as our competition
marquees for Horticulture and Arts & Crafts, the Show provides
a great day out for the local community, and we distribute any
excess funds to local good causes. One of the attractions of
the show is the wide variety of stalls, offering a range of
activities, competitions and attractive goods to buy.
Theme
The theme for this year’s Show is “The Wild West”. Please feel
free to decorate both yourselves and your stall in the theme
of the show this year. The Jester’s Cup will be awarded during
the afternoon to the most attractive and well presented stall
(whether in theme or not).

with a cheque for the full amount. The committee reserves the
right to decline any application if it feels that the stall
is not in keeping with the character of the show.
Payment
Payment is required in full by 1st July 2010: if all
paperwork and payment have not been received by
then, we reserve the right to offer your pitch to another
stallholder.

Insurance
Each stall must have its own public liability insurance.
Whilst we do not recommend any particular insurance
policy, we are aware that a number of our stallholders
are members of the National Market Traders Federation
which provides insurance as part of its membership.
A copy of your insurance must be provided at the time of
booking.
Finding The Showground
The Stone Meadow showground is in the heart of Chalfont St
Giles, near the village green. Stone Meadow doesn’t have its
own postcode, but Satnav users can use post code HP8 4QF to
get pretty close.
