Traders & Stall Holders:

One of the attractive features of the Chalfont St Giles Show is the great range of stalls run by clubs, voluntary groups and local businesses. We have also introduced a number of craft stalls which offer not only the opportunity to purchase items but also in some cases to watch demonstrations of that craft or have a go at the craft. These stalls provide a great opportunity to promote your organisation and/or to demonstrate/sell your wares.

Our usual attendance is between 5000 and 7000 visitors, who enjoy a great day out, watching first class entertainment, sampling the barbeque, hog roast, tea tent and beer tent, as well as spending their money at dozens of stalls.

Bookings from Traders for the 2018 show are now being accepted. Prices of pitches are dependant on size and location. There is a £5 discount for pitches booked and paid for before 1st August. Prices are on the booking form.

Advertising opportunity

For the past few years, we have printed a programme which is handed out free to all visitors on Show Day. This includes a copy of the layout of the showground, details of all the stalls registered at the show before 6th August 2018 and again this year we're offering the opportunity for any stall holder to place an advertisement in the programme on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact traders2018@csgshow.org for further details.

FAQ

Q: What time is the show?

A: The show is open to the public from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm. You can start setting-up from 7:00am on Show Day and your vehicle must be removed to the nearby car park by 11:00am.
To comply with health and safety, you must NOT move your vehicle on the show ground after 11:00am or before a public announcement is made to say that the show is over, which we anticipate will be at about 6:00pm.

Q: Where is the show held?

A: In the village centre in Stone and Silsden Meadows, Chalfont St Giles, HP8 4QF (South of Pheasant Hill).

Payment

Payment is required in full with your completed application form: A copy of the necessary Public Liability Insurance covering the date of the Show (September 1nd 2018) is also required with your application (if your Public Liability Insurance expires before the date of the show, please send a copy of your current Public Liability Insurance with your application form and a copy of your updated insurance once it has been renewed).
