The Show considers you to be a junior if you are in one of the national curriculum year groups specified on the last day of August 2017. "Preschool" includes those at Playgroup and Nursery. Juniors are primarily eligible for any classes in the divisions listed below, but class rules may also apply, and applicants are advised to check these first to make sure they are eligible. Work may be entered that has been done at school, nursery, playgroup, or at outside activities, as well as that produced at home.

Juniors may also enter adult classes (unless otherwise stated) but may NOT enter Junior classes intended for other age groups including older ones. To enter an Adult Class via the online system, the junior entrant must create a second user name, different to the one used to enter the junior competitions and declare their age as "adult" for the second user name.

Parents/guardians are assumed to warrant that the entries are entirely the Junior's own work.

Parents/Guardians/Grandparents/Friends, PLEASE NOTE that on Show Day, we advise that exhibits should be brought to the marquees by 09:15. It is easy to underestimate the time needed to locate the exhibit table for each class (especially if you have more than one junior entering).

Pre-Show Colouring Competition:

Any junior may enter this competition. A template will be issued at Chalfont St Giles Village School towards the end of term and may be coloured in using any medium. A template will also be available for collection from Chalfont Pets, Chalfont St Giles and should be returned to this shop no later than noon on Saturday 26th August 2017 (one week before the show).

Prize winning exhibits will be on display in the Arts and Crafts Marquee on Show Day and may be collected from there after 4:30pm. Non-prize winning exhibits may be obtained from Caroline Jackson no later than 9th September.

Prizes can be collected on Show Day. Overall Winner will be awarded the Beekeepers Trophy.
